Sky Inks CBSSI Deal For UK Rights To Dick Wolf’s ‘FBI’, Renews Agreements For ‘Hawaii Five-0’ & ‘Madam Secretary’

Dick Wolf’s newest drama is crossing the pond. Sky has acquired the exclusive UK rights to the Law & Order super-producer’s new procedural FBI after striking a deal with international distributor CBS Studios International. No word yet on a premiere date or which Sky channel it will air on.

Created by Dick Wolf, FBI is described as a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The drama series is produced by Universal Television in association with CBS Television Studios and Wolf Entertainment and stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel and Sela Ward.

Additionally, Sky has also extended their licensing agreements for Hawaii Five-0, Madam SecretaryElementary and The Late Late Show With James Corden and Hawaii Five-0; picking up additional seasons of all four shows. The deal for The Late Late Show is for the weekly highlight show that they started airing earlier this year. Hawaii Five-0 and The Late Late Show air on Sky One; while Madam Secretary and Elementary air on Sky Witness.

“For many years, we have successfully delivered Sky a slate of broad, powerful, advertiser-friendly series,” said Stephen Tague, Executive Vice President, Client Relations, EMEA, for CBS Studios International. “We think FBI is a terrific addition to the Sky schedule, building on the consistency and reliability that broadcasters have come to expect from CBS programming.”
