Fox’s short-lived comedy series LA To Vegas will receive its UK premiere on Paramount Network on Tuesday January 8th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.
LA To Vegas is a workplace comedy about an airline crew and the eccentric passengers who, every weekend, take the roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with one goal in mind – to come back a winner. It won’t be easy, but this unlikely group of miscreants and dreamers will eventually go from being strangers on a plane to a supportive, if unconventional, family…well, at least from Friday to Sunday.
The comedy series, which was created by Lon Zimmet, is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Gary Sanchez Productions and stars Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Kim Matula (UnREAL), Ed Weeks (The Mindy Project), Nathan Lee Graham (The Comeback), Olivia Macklin (The Young Pope) and Peter Stormare (The Big Lebowski). Despite efforts by the producers to secure a second season by pitching a guest appearance by Will Ferrell, Fox cancelled the series back in May after a single fifteen episode season.
