The thirteenth season of FXX’s comedy series It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Sunday January 6th, when all ten episodes will be available to stream, it has been announced.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia follows a group of five friends who own and operate Paddy’s Pub in South Philadelphia. Their constant scheming usually lands them in a world of hurt, yet they never seem to learn from their mistakes. The comedy series is produced by FX Productions and stars Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by Rob McElhenney, whoe serves as executive producer alongside Charlie Day, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel, Tom Lofaro, David Hornsby, and Megan Ganz.
In the show’s thirteenth season, Mac, Charlie, Dee and Frank return to their duplicitous, scheming ways at Paddy’s Pub, while Dennis takes on the new role of father in North Dakota. Even without Dennis Reynolds, the Gang has its hands full as Charlie hopes to have a child with The Waitress, Mac sets out to understand his newfound sexuality, Dee takes feminism to new heights, and Frank goes to great lengths for the Gang to experience the greatest moment in Philadelphia sports history – an Eagles Super Bowl victory. FXX has already renewed the series for a fourteenth season.
