The sales keep rolling in for The War Of The Worlds. ITV Studios Global Entertainment has licensed the BBC’s H.G. Wells adaptation to Channel A in South Korea. With this deal, The War Of The Worlds has now been sold to more than 80 territories ahead of its 2019 premiere.
In addition to War Of The Worlds, Channel A has also licensed Vanity Fair, Taste of Marley and Schofield’s South African Adventure from ITVSGE. Elsewhere, ITV Studios international distribution division has sold Dark Heart, Bancroft and the latest seasons of Endeavour and Poldark to WOWOW in Japan; and the third season of Thunderbirds Are Go to Tohokushinsha, also in Japan.
Lastly, ITV Studios Global Entertainment has extended their exclusive output agreement with leading South Korean IPTV platform KT Corp. The renewed deal sees ITVSGE supplying 180 hours of content to the platform, including Mammoth Screen dramas Vanity Fair, Victoria and Endeavour, as well as factual titles such as Life Cycles and How To Get Rich Quick .
