ITV Sets Premiere Date For 'Cleaning Up' – TVWise

ITV’s new drama series Cleaning Up will premiere on Wednesday January 9th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Cleaning Up tells the story of an ordinary working class woman who is caught between two worlds – the everyday life of a devoted and loving Mum and the darker, dangerous world of insider trading. Sassy office cleaner Sam is one of an invisible army of cleaners on a zero hours contract who mop, sweep and vacuum in the early hours. Struggling with an on-line gambling addiction, Sam realises she has access to lucrative Stock Market information which if used correctly could be the answer to all her prayers.
The six episode drama series, which was created by Mark Marlow, is produced by Sister Pictures and stars Sheridan Smith, Ben Bailey Smith, Neil Maskell, Lloyd Evans, Robert Emms and Rosie Cavaliero. It was commissioned for ITV by Head of Drama Polly Hill. Lewis Arnold (Humans, Broadchurch), who developed the series with Mark Marlow, is the director. Karen Lewis is the series producer. The executive producers are Jane Featherstone (Broadchurch, Spooks) and Chris Fry (Humans, The Smoke).
