BBC Three Sets Premiere Date For ‘Cuckoo’ Season 5 – TVWise

The fifth season of Cuckoo will premiere on BBC Three on Friday January 4th, when the complete season will be available to stream.
Cuckoo originally followed a middle-class family whose daughter returns home from a summer abroad married to a charming but infuriating eccentric named Cuckoo, played by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg, much to her father’s annoyance. After Brooklyn Nine-Nine scored a series order at Fox, Samberg exited the series to be replaced by Taylor Lautner as the series lead playing Cuckoo’s son for seasons two through four..
The comedy series is produced for BBC Three by Roughcut TV and stars Greg Davies (Man Down) as Ken, Helen Baxendale (Cold Feet) as Lorna, Tyger Drew Honey (Outnumbered) as Dylan, Esther Smith (Ballot Monkeys) as Rachel. In the opening episode of the season, Ken is really excited about his long-lost sister arriving, but it turns out that billionaire Ivy (Andie MacDowell) doesn’t really want to get to know her brother at all, she just wants to buy his corpse to help her live forever. Ken is piqued but ultimately decides to take the money. They go to the bank to take out Ken’s payout, but Ivy receives call informing her that her husband has been arrested and all her money and possessions have been seized by the FBI. Meanwhile, Rachel returns from travelling single. Things didn’t work out with Dale, so she’s off boys.
