Sky Witness Sets UK Premiere Date For 'Madam Secretary' Season 5 – TVWise

The fifth season of CBS’ State department drama series Madam Secretary will receive its UK premiere on Sky Witness on Thursday December 13th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Created by Barbara Hall, Madam Secretary follows the personal and professional life of maverick female Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life. The drama is produced by CBS Television Studios and stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Zeljko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arcelus, Patina Miller, Geoffrey Arend, Erich Bergen, Kathrine Herzer, Wallis Currie-Wood, Evan Roe and Sara Ramirez.
In the opening episode of the show’s fifth season, titled E Pluribus Unum, in the aftermath of a deadly attack on the White House, Elizabeth tries to keep a major nuclear disarmament deal from falling apart while a manhunt for the attackers brings D.C. to a halt. For advice, Elizabeth turns to three high profile former Secretaries of State from previous Democratic and Republican administrations. Madeleine Albright (Secretary of State under President Bill Clinton), Colin Powell (Secretary of State under President George W. Bush) and Hillary Clinton (Secretary of State under President Barack Obama) guest star as themselves.
