A little over a year after they secured the international distribution rights, kids content distributor Jetpack Distribution has lined up a slew of international deals for Dennis & Gnasher Unleased, the latest series featuring Dennis The Menace.
The series – which already airs on CBBC in the UK, Super RTL in German, SIC in Portugal, YLE in Finland, HSCC 8 in Israel and ABC in Australia – has been sold to the following international broadcasters: Emirates Cable in the United Arab Emirates, Rai in Italy, VTMKids in Belgium, TV Derana in Sri Lanka, TVNZ in New Zealand, ClanTVE in Spain, Barnkanalen SVT, in Sweden, France Televisions in France and RTE in Ireland
Dennis & Gnasher follows Dennis, who nothing or no-one can contain. The more extreme the adventure, the louder the rock track, the more epic the skateboard trick, the more Dennis wants to take the lead. Dennis is inseparable from Gnasher, a stray dog he adopted and now his faithful sidekick. They are joined by their irrepressible, adventurous friends Rubi, JJ, Pieface and his pet potato Paul
The series hails from Beano Studios and the first season consists of fifty-two episodes, each running eleven minutes. Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed features a strong voice cast that includes Freddie Fox (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Pride) as Dennis; Ryan Sampson (Plebs, After You’ve Gone) as Pieface; Rasmus Hardiker (Your Highness, Thunderbirds Are Go) as Walter; Kathryn Drysdale (St. Trinians, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps) as JJ; and Kelly Marie Stewart (Hollyoaks) as Rubi.
