Jetpack Distribution is addition two of CHF Media Group’s pre-school series. The kids distributor has secured the international distribution rights to Pip Ahoy! and Daisy & Ollie.
The company will be seeking buyers for the first three seasons and a special of Pip Ahoy, and two seasons, a special and a series of nursery rhymes of Daisy & Ollie ahead of MIPJUNIOR and MIPCOM in Cannes next month.
Part of ITVBe’s pre-school block LittleBe, Pip Ahoy! follows Pip and his friends carrying out a rescue here, solving a problem there, taking care of their close-knit community and looking out for others. The voice cast includes Sir David Jason, who plays Skipper an old seadog and Pip’s Uncle. In addition to ITVBe, other UK broadcasters include Cartoonito and YouTube channel Wizz! The series has extended its reach off-screen with the recent renewal of both its master toy and apparel licenses. Additionally, this summer has seen Pip ‘meet and greets’ in several popular family entertainment parks across the UK. The feedback has been so positive, the owner, CHF Pip! Plc and licensee PJSL are currently in discussion with two parks for a long-term on-site Pip Ahoy! live show.
Daisy & Ollie encourages young children to be curious and question the world around them. These questions can range from the sublime to the ridiculous, from the serious to the silly… and everything in between. The series premiere in the UK on Cartoonito last November; becoming the channel’s most watched programme at launch. Jason Manford is heavily involved with the show, serving as one of the voice actors and executive producers. He has also penned several episodes.
