BBC America’s Killing Eve will receive its UK premiere on BBC One on Saturday September 15th at 9:15pm, it has been announced.

When Eve is tasked with tracking down Villanelle – a fearsome assassin clinging to the luxuries her violent job affords her – before she can strike again, the two women are thrown into a cat-and-mouse game that turns the traditional spy-thriller on its head.

The drama series, which was created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is produced by Sid Gentle Ltd and stars Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Fiona Shaw, David Haig, Kim Bodnia, Darren Boyd, Sean Delaney, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Owen McDonnell. It is based on the novellas by Luke Jennings. The executive producers are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sally Woodward Gentle and Lee Morris. BBC America has already ordered a second season.
