Sky One Sets Premiere Date For ‘Sick Note’ Season 2

The second season of Sick Note will premiere on Sky One on Thursday July 26th at 10pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

Sick Note tells the story of Daniel Glass, a compulsive liar, who’s stuck in a failing relationship and a dead end job, who is suddenly diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Daniel finds his life improving, however, as everyone in his life is starting to treat him better following the news of his diagnosis. It is then that he learns he was misdiagnosed by his doctor, leaving him the option of returning to his old life or pretend to be ill. Things soon spiral out of control and Daniel and his doctor have to spend their waking lives trying to prevent the truth from getting out. The comedy series is produced by King Bert Productions and stars Rupert Grint (Harry Potter feature film series), Nick Frost (Mr Sloane) and Don Johnson (Blood & Oil). Season two picks up from the end of the first, with Lindsay Lohan joining the cast as Katerina West, the daughter of Daniel’s boss.
