CITV has handed out renewals to Zodiak Kids produced series Spy School and Scrambled!. Game show Spy School returns for a second season, while Scrambled will be back for its sixth season later this year.
“We’re really pleased to be working with Zodiak again on a couple of key originated series for CITV”, said ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions Paul Mortimer. “Both deliver the fun, entertainment and excitement that our young audience has come to expect from our best content.”
Spy School is a game show in which young, intrepid cadets put their problem solving and physical skills to the test, as they train to become top secret spy agents. The series is produced by Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids Studios, with Steven Andrew & Joe Shaw serving as executive producers. The show’s second season was commissioned by ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions Paul Mortimer. The commissioning executive for ITV is Gemma John-Lewis.
Scrambled! is presented by Luke Franks, Arielle Free, Sam Homewood and a new presenter who will revealed in ITV’s The Big Audition, following London Hughes’ decision to say goodbye to the series after five years on the show. 52 episodes have been commissioned for season six. CITV has also ordered five specials, which will air in a weekday teatime slot. Season six will include a new, weekly art competition segment and will culminate in a one-off Scrambled! special in 2019.
