Movies 24 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Altar’

To The Altar – the twenty-second entry in the Signed, Sealed, Delivered franchise – will receive its UK premiere on Movies 24 on Saturday August 25th at 3pm, it has been announced.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered follows a quartet of civil servants who transform themselves into an elite team of lost-mail detectives working in the Dead Letter Office. Their determination to deliver the undeliverable takes them out of the post office and into an unpredictable world where letters and packages from the past save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but always miraculously on time. The film series, which briefly existed as an hour-long series before returning to a two-hour format, stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson.

In To The Altar, when plans for Rita and Norman’s long-awaited wedding begins falling apart days before their nuptials, their challenges inspire changes that make their wedding more meaningful. Meanwhile, Shane convinces Oliver that the team should urgently focus on finding clues to deliver a package containing a wedding dress. Their investigation uncovers a fascinating relationship between a mother and daughter sadly separated for years. In classic POstables style, the team sets out to not only deliver the package to the daughter, they aim to orchestrate a reunion as well. As challenges continue with Norman and Rita’s wedding planning, Oliver gets much-needed guidance from his father Joe as he throws a surprise bachelor party for Norman. The biggest surprise is the return of Norman’s beloved, free-spirited, globe-trotting grandmother Ardis, who joins from halfway around the world in a unique way. Keb’ Mo’ returns as Gabe to play at the wedding. During the romantic yet non-traditional ceremony, one that’s perfectly suited for Rita and Norman, they and their guests find the miracles they need at the altar.
