Canadian drama series Private Eyes will return to Universal TV to finish airing its second season from Monday June 4th at 8pm, it has been announced.
Private Eyes is set in Toronto and follows ex-pro hockey player Matt Shade who irrevocably changes his life when he decides to team up with fierce P.I. Angie Everett, took over her father’s agency after his death, to form an unlikely investigative powerhouse. The drama series is produced by eOne in association with Corus Entertainment and stars Jason Priestley and Cindy Sampson.
The back half of season two picks up with Shade (Priestley) and Angie (Sampson) settling in to personal relationships with their respective partners Mel (Bree Williamson) and Dr. Ken (Mark Ghanimé), while focusing on expanding their ever-evolving partnership and taking on bigger and better cases. From morning shows and microbreweries, to medieval knights and a missing octopus, no case is too outrageous for the dynamic pair. But will their undeniable attraction to each other get in the way of their ability to solve crimes? A third season has already been commissioned by Canadian broadcaster Global.
