Netflix UK Sets Premiere Date For ‘Arrested Development’ Season 5

The fifth season of the Fox-turned-Netflix comedy series Arrested Development will premiere on Netflix UK on Tuesday May 29th, it has been announced.

Created by Mitch Hurwitz, Arrested Development follows the wildly eccentric and entertainingly dysfunctional Bluth family. The comedy series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and stars Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter.

The show’s fifth season picks up in the aftermath of Cinco de Quatro and the Bluth family are all facing one question, that no one quite has the answer to; where is Lucille Two? The Bluths are finally back together, and finally getting the award they think they deserve – for family of the year. A development which will help Lindsay as she begins her campaign for Congress, to become ‘part of the problem’. But whatever happens, Michael will always come back to save the family. Probably.
