The fifth season of Starz’s drama series Power will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Monday July 2nd, it has been announced.

New episodes will continue to be made available every Monday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Starz in the United States, through to the season finale in September.

Created by Courtney A. Kemp, Power is a crime drama set in two different worlds: the glamorous New York club scene and the brutal drug trade. The drama series is produced by CBS Television Studios and stars Omari Hardwick, Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton and Lela Loren. Starz has already renewed Power for season six. Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, Randall Emmett and Gary Lennon serve as executive producers.

In the show’s fifth season, James “Ghost” St. Patrick is in a dangerous alliance with his former drug partner and brother-in-arms Tommy Egan and mortal enemy Kanan Stark. As Ghost mourns the death of his daughter Raina, he searches for vengeance and throws himself into his work, reaching new, professional heights. But with this newfound publicity, his quest for blood threatens to dismantle his legitimate legacy. Ghost is blind to new enemies and, as the Feds grow closer to unmasking his true identity, Ghost must remain vigilant toward those wanting to take him down for his past criminal enterprises.
