Lifetime’s TV movie Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will premiere on Channel 5 on Saturday May 19th at 3pm, it has been announced. It will be repeated later the same day at 9pm.
Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance follows the fairytale romance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.
The movie, which comes ahead of the Royal wedding on May 19th, stars Parisa Fitz-Henley (Jessica Jones) as Meghan Markle, Murray Fraser (The Loch) as Prince Harry, Burgess Abernethy (Australia Day) as Prince William, Laura Mitchell (iZombie) as Catherine Middleton, Steve Coulter (Yellowstone) as Prince Charles, Deborah Ramsay (Hailey Dean Mystery) as Camilla Parker Bowles, Bonnie Soper (Filthy Rich) as Princess Diana, Maggie Sullivun (Fargo) as Queen Elizabeth II, Preston Karwat as Prince George and Briella Wintraub as Princess Charlotte. It is executive produced by Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss. Menhaj Huda directs from a script by Scarlett Lacey and Terrence Coli.
