The third season of AMC’s comic book adaptation Preacher will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Monday June 25th, it has been announced.

New episodes will continue to be made available to Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK every Monday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on AMC in the United States.

Developed for television by Sam Catlin, Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, Preacher follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vampire named Cassidy as they embark on a road trip to find God, and are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between. The drama series is produced by AMC Studios and Sony Pictures Television and stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Betty Buckley and Colin Cunningham.

In the show’s ten episode third season, Jesse Custer’s quest for God takes him back to the place he’s been avoiding his whole life: home.  Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy return to Angelville, the Louisiana Plantation where Jesse was raised, and find old grudges and deadly obligations await them.  With the help of his friends — and a few enemies — Jesse will need to escape his past… because the future of the world depends on it. This season is inspired by the second volume of the comic book franchise, Until the End of the World.
