The second season of Australian drama series Wolf Creek will receive its UK premiere on FOX UK on Tuesday April 3rd at 10pm, it has been announced.
Wolf Creek is based on the feature film of the same name, with original star John Jarratt reprising his role as Mick Taylor – the murdering psychopath of the Australian Outback. The show’s second season features a whole new cast and story. Mick Taylor sees an opportunity of a lifetime after a chance encounter with a coach full of tourists from around the globe. The unwitting travellers begin an outback adventure none of them could have imagined.
Joining John Jaratt in the second season is Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant), Matt Day (Rake, Paper Giants, Underbelly, Kiss or Kill), Ben Oxenbould (Comedy Inc, The Kettering Incident, The Code), Laura Wheelwright (Animal Kingdom), Charlie Clausen (Home & Away) Stephen Hunter (The Hobbit, The Leftovers) and Chris Haywood (Shine, Muriel’s Wedding). The series is produced by the Banijay owned Screentime in association with Emu Creek Pictures and financed with the assistance of Screen Australia and the South Australian Film Corporation. It was originally commissioned by Australian VOD service Stan.
