The third season of AMC’s martial arts drama Into The Badlands will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Monday April 23rd, it has been announced.

New episodes will continue to be made available to Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK every Monday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on AMC in the United States.

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Into The Badlands is set in a land controlled by feudal barons and tells the story of a great warrior and a young boy who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. The drama series is produced by AMC Studios and stars Daniel Wu, Nick Frost, Emily Beecham, Eleanor Matsuura, Ally Ioannides, Stephen Lang, Orla Brady, Sherman Augustus, Babou Ceesay, Aramis Knight, Lorraine Toussaint, Ella-Rae Smith, Lewis Tan and Dean-Charles Chapman.

In the show’s third season, Sunny is living off the grid, doing his best to provide for his infant son, Henry, in the wake of Veil’s death. It is only when Henry contracts a mysterious illness that Sunny must join forces with Bajie and journey back into the Badlands, where The Widow and Baron Chau are entrenched in a drawn-out war that has destabilized the entire region. No longer supported by Tilda or Waldo, The Widow must find new allies in Lydia and in Nathaniel Moon — the former regent who lost his hand to Sunny and Bajie in Season two. But when a mysterious nomadic leader called Pilgrim arrives in the Badlands on a mission to restore Azra and usher in a new era of “peace,” old enemies must band together to defend the Badlands.
