Movies 24 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Deadly Deed: A Fixer Upper Mystery’

Deadly Deed – the third entry in the Fixer Upper Mystery movie series – will receive its UK premiere on Movies 24 on Saturday April 21st at 3pm, it has been announced.

Based on the novels by Kate Carlisle, The Fixer Upper Mysteries movies are set in the small resort town of Lighthouse Cove and follows Shannon Hughes, owner of Hughes Restoration and an expert in Victorian home restoration. Through her work, she stumbles across clues hidden in the old homes, uncovering past secrets and becoming an unlikely sleuth to crack unsolved mysteries. The movies star Jewel and Colin Ferguson.

In Deadly Deed, when the body of a local bank president is found at the site of her latest project, renovation expert Shannon Hughes and her friend and tenant, mystery writer Mac Sullivan work to uncover the killer. As they investigate the murder in their own unorthodox way, Shannon and Mac discover that perhaps what they feel for one another could be more than friendship. And as they uncover clues to some nefarious goings-on at the bank, they also discover a long list of Lighthouse Cove citizens who hold grudges against the foreclosure-happy banker, any one of whom may have a reason for wanting him dead.
