The seventh season of Trollied will premiere on Sky One on Tuesday January 2nd at 10pm, it has been announced.
Created by Anne Marie O’Connor, Paul Doolan and Ash Atalla, Trollied is based in a budget supermarket in the North West and follows the everyday lives of the store’s staff. The comedy series is produced by Roughcut TV and stars Jason Watkins, Rita May, Carl Rice, Beverly Rudd, Lorraine Cheshire, Faye Mckeever, Victor McGuire, Dominic Coleman, Sarah Parish. John Thomson, Sally Phillips, Danny Mac, Jess Gunning, Chanel Cresswell and Stephen Tompkinson.
In the show’s seventh season, change is afoot at the store. 24 hour opening is imminent, forcing Gavin to appoint a Night Manager, with the scatty candidate Lou winning the role, a decision with potentially disastrous results. The series also sees Gavin’s mother, Lillian (Gwen Taylor) arrive at the store doors, but is there an ulterior motive for her visit? Things between Gavin and Cheryl hit rock bottom, and with the wedding imminent will the pair be able to get themselves back on track? It’s not only the opening hours which are changing, Valco has rolled out a new uniform, until impulsive CEO Brendan (Simon Delaney) pays an unexpected visit. And the new security guard in town, Donna (Jess Gunning), raises eyebrows with her pretty extreme views on keeping the store safe.
