Netflix Sets UK Return Date For 'Dynasty' – TVWise

The CW’s Dynasty reboot will return to Netflix UK to finish airing its first season from Thursday January 18th, it has been announced.
New episodes will then continue to be made available to stream every Thursday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on The CW in the United States.
Dynasty follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons, and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. Fallon Carrington is charismatic, cunning, and poised to become the new COO of her father’s global energy empire, or so she thinks. When her father, Blake Carrington, summons Fallon and her brother, Steven, home to the family compound in Atlanta, Fallon is horrified to learn that the reunion isn’t to announce her promotion, but rather to make the acquaintance of their stepmother-to-be, Cristal. Cristal is stunning, and almost as young as Fallon, as Fallon is quick to point out, but she isn’t just some flimsy gold-digger to be scared off.
The drama series, which is a modernized reboot of the 1980s soap, is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Fake Empire and stars Grant Show (Melrose Place), Elizabeth Gillies (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll), Nathalie Kelley (The Vampire Diaries), James Mackay (The Leftovers), Alan Dale (The O.C.), Sam Adegoke (Murder in the First), Robert Christopher Riley (Hit the Floor) and Rafael de la Fuente (Empire). The executive producers are Josh Schwartz (Gossip Girl), Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl), Sallie Patrick (Revenge), Esther and Richard Shapiro (the creators of the original Dynasty) and Brad Silberling (Jane The Virgin). The CW has yet to renew the series for a second season.
