Channel 4’s new drama series Kiri will premiere on Wednesday January 10th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Kiri tells the story of the abduction and death of a young black girl, named Kiri, who is soon-to-be-adopted by her white foster family, and the trail of lies, blame, guilt and notoriety that follows.

The four-part drama, which hails from Jack Thorne and is being co-produced by Hulu, hails from The Forge and stars Sarah Lancashire, Lia Williams, Steven Mackintosh, Lucian Msamati and Felicia Mukasa.
