BBC One Sets Premiere Date For 'Father Brown' Season 6 – TVWise

The sixth season of Father Brown will premiere on BBC One on Tuesday January 2nd at 2:15pm, it has been announced.
Father Brown is set in the 1950s and follows the eponymous Roman Catholic priest as he solves crimes in the Cotswold village of Kembleford. The drama series is produced by BBC Birmingham Drama Village and stars Mark Williams, Sorcha Cusack, Emer Kenny and Jack Deam.
The sixth season, which picks up following the Christmas special, sees Lady Felicia (Nancy Carroll), visiting from Northern Rhodesia with Sid (Alex Price), intercepted by her old adversary from M15, Daniel Whittaker (Daniel Flynn). Is her lover Benedict (Richard Harrington) really a Russian spy? Elsewhere Father Brown struggles to protect those closest to him when old foe Katherine Corven (Kate O’Flynn) is unexpectedly released from prison, thirsty for revenge. As the series ends Father Brown is troubled to hear about the death of Flambeau (John Light) as he races to protect a crown that contains a nail from the crucifixion of Christ.
