ITV2 Heads To The Savannah With 'Survival Of The Fittest' – TVWise

ITV2 is heading to the Savannah. The digi-net has given the green-light to Survival Of The Fittest, a new entertainment series set in the South Africa that hails from the makers of Love Island.
Survival Of The Fittest will see a group of young, hot singles living together under the searing sun as they take part in the ultimate battle of the sexes. A team of girls and a team of boys will battle it out in a series of stunning physical and mental challenges to determine which sex has the upper hand, while romantic dates will test their loyalties to the limit.
“ITV2’s younger audience will no doubt relish the escapism this immersive physical game show from sunny South Africa will provide next winter”, said ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions Paul Mortimer, who ordered the series. “Like Love Island before it, this series’ nightly mixture of fun challenges and burgeoning relationships ought to be must see.”
The stripped series is being produced for ITV2 by ITV Studios and Motion Content Group and will be overseen by Commissioner for Comedy & Entertainment, Amanda Stavri. Creative Director of Entertainment Richard Cowles will head up the series for ITV Studios and it will be executive produced by Andy Cadman, with Martin Oxley serving executive producer for Motion Content Group.
