Virgin Media Picks Up ‘Kingdom’ Season 3, Will Make Episodes Available Within 24 Hours Of U.S. Broadcast

Virgin Media is returning to Kingdom. The company has picked up the exclusive UK rights to the show’s ten episode third and final season and will make episodes available to Virgin TV customers within 24 hours of their initial broadcast on AT&T’s Audience network in the United States. The season premiere is now available on-demand.

Kingdom tells the story of Alvey Kulina – a mixed martial arts legend and owner of Navy St gym in Venice, California – and his wider Navy St family, charting their struggles both inside and outside the cage. The drama series is produced by Endemol Shine Studios and stars Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas, Joanna Going, Talia Shire and Kirk Acevedo.

The series, which was recently cancelled by U.S network Audience, is one of a number of exclusive U.S. scripted acquisitions for Virgin Media. They started down that path with the Starz horror-comedy series Ash Vs. Evil Dead, before subsequently swooping for such shows as Magic CityFull Circle (which is another series originally produced for Audience) and more recently Bravo’s scripted dramedy Imposters.
