ITV Sets Premiere Date For 'The Durrells' Season 2 – TVWise

The second season of ITV’s drama series The Durrells will premiere on Sunday April 23rd at 8pm, it has been announced.
The Durrells is set in 1935 and follows Louisa Durrell whose life is in meltdown. Her husband died years ago, the money has all but run out and her four unruly ‘children’ are going off the rails. Louisa realises she can carry on struggling or make a radical change and escape. She tells her family that she is taking them to Corfu. The drama series is produced by Sid Gentle Films Limited and stars Keeley Hawes, Josh O’Connor, Daisy Waterstone, Milo Parker, Callum Woodhouse, Leslie Caron, Yorgos Karamihos, Alexis Georgoulis & Christopher Sciueref.
In season two, In Larry continues to pursue his passion for writing despite a new romance getting in the way; Leslie decides to explore his entrepreneurial spirit; Margo remains boy crazy and makes a play for someone thoroughly unsuitable; and Gerry, who prefers animals to people, is delighted when he discovers an otter is living close to home. Daniel Lapaine joins the cast this season as Hugh Jarvis – an English gentleman who sets his sight on Louisa. But after her failed attempt at marrying Sven, will Louisa be ready for a new man in her life?
