AMC Renews 'Fear The Walking Dead' For Season 4 – TVWise

The Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead has been renewed for a fourth season, AMC announced on Friday.
The just ordered fourth season will be under the reins of a new boss, however, with Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg boarding as co-showrunners. The Walking Dead showrunner Scott M. Gimple is also joining the show next season and will serve as an executive producer.
“We’re very excited to continue the journey of ‘Fear The Walking Dead,’ and truly look forward to working with the talented team of Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg, and Scott Gimple,” said Joel Stillerman, President of Original Programming and Development for AMC and SundanceTV.
Like it’s sister show The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead has not one but two broadcasters here in the UK. AMC Global – the local version of the U.S. network, for which the show is produced – holds first window rights to Fear The Walking Dead and recently announced that the show’s third season would premiere on this side of the pond on Monday June 5th. Amazon Prime Video UK holds streaming rights to the show and makes episodes available some 12 months after they initially air on AMC Global.
