Fox’s drama series Lucifer will return to Amazon Prime Video UK to finish airing its second season from Tuesday May 2nd, it has been announced.
New episodes will continue to be made available to UK Prime subscribers every Tuesday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Fox in the United States.
Lucifer follows the eponymous character who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. The hour-long drama is produced by Warner Bros. Television and stars Tom Ellis, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Lauren German.
In the next new episode, titled Candy Morningstar, Lucifer has gone off the grid, cutting off all contact from his family and the police department. He materializes just in time to help solve an up-and-coming guitarist’s murder and introduces the department to a ditzy stripper named Candy… a new mystery woman in his life. While Lucifer’s mom desperately tries to contact her son, Chloe tries to push him away. Lucifer must find a way to prove himself in order to be invited back onto the team
