History UK Sets Premiere Date For ‘Vikings’ Season 4

The fourth season of Vikings will premiere on History UK on Tuesday April 18th at 10pm, it has been announced.

Created by Michael Hirst, Vikings follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok and his band of Viking brothers. The drama series is produced by Take 5 Productions, World 2000 & MGM Television and stars Gabriel Byrne, George Blagden, Travis Fimmel, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsgard, Clive Standen and Katheryn Winnick. Michael Hirst, Morgan O’Sullivan, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer and James Flynn executive produce.

In the show’s fourth season, Thoughts of Ragnar’s death galvanize the forces who seek to succeed him as king, including his wife Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) and his oldest son, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig). Meanwhile, Lagertha continues power struggles with her calculating, former second in command, Kalf (Ben Robson); Rollo betrays his Vikings heritage by remaining in Frankia and Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) is seized for his brutal actions to the Christian priest Athelstan. Joining the cast this season is Peter Franzén (The Gunman), Jasper Pääkkönen (Jet Trash) and Dianne Doan (Descendants).
