The sixth and final season of HBO’s half-hour series Girls will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Monday February 13th at 10pm, it has been announced.

Created by Lena Dunham, Girls follows the day to day lives of Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna who are trying to figure life out. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want – from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer. The comedy series stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Andrew Rannells and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

In the opening episode of the show’s final season, titled All I Ever Wanted, Hannah (Lena Dunham), riding a wave of newfound career success gets an assignment to write a story about a female surf camp in the Hamptons, where she meets Paul-Louis (Riz Ahmed), an uncomplicated waterski instructor. Hoping to break her old patterns post-divorce, Marnie (Allison Williams) tells Ray (Alex Karpovsky) he needs to spend more time at his own place, but Adam (Adam Driver) and Jessa’s (Jemima Kirke) intensity drives him out of the apartment.
