ITV Sets Premiere Date For 'Midsomer Murders' Season 19 – TVWise

The nineteenth season of ITV’s long-running drama series Midsomer Murders will premiere on Sunday December 18th at 8pm, it has been announced.
Midsomer Murders follows DCI John Barnaby and his partner as they tackle intricate murder mysteries in the beautiful but deadly countryside of Midsomer. The series is produced by the All3Media owned Bentley Productions and stars Neil Dudgeon, Manjinder Virk and Fiona Dolman. Joining the main cast this season is Nick Hendrix as Barnaby’s new partner, DS Jamie Winter.
The opening episode of season 19, titled The Village That Rose From Dead, takes place in the ghost village of Little Auburn, which has been abandoned since the war. When a young man is found murdered during its grand reopening, DCI Barnaby and DS Winter must unravel a sinister web of lies from both past and present in order to catch the killer. Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered) guest stars.
