Channel 4 Sets Premiere Date For ‘No Offence’ Season 2

no-offence-s2The second season of No Offence will premiere on Channel 4 on Wednesday January 4th at 9pm, it has been announced.

From Shameless creator Paul Abbott, No Offence is set in a crumbling cop shop on the wrong side of Manchester and tells the story of a group of police officers on the front line who go above and beyond to being the criminal element to justice. These officers test the biggest challenge yet when they discover that there is a serial killer on the loose.

The drama series is produced by AbbottVision and features a large cast which includes Joanna Scanlan (Getting On), Alexandra Roach (The Thirteenth Tale), Elaine Cassidy (The Paradise), Colin Salmon (24: Live Another Day), Will Mellor (In The Club) and Paul Ritter (Vera). The second season opens with the Friday Street squad on full surveillance mode at the funeral of the son of notorious gangster. Straight back in the deep end, DI Viv Deering and the team fight to prevent the breakout of a gang war in the city.
