BBC One Sets Premiere Date For 'Still Open All Hours' 2016 Christmas Special – TVWise

The Still Open All Hours Christmas Special will premiere on BBC One on Boxing Day (Monday December 26th) at 8:30pm, it has been announced.
Still Open All Hours follows Granville who some years back inherited the shop from his beloved but miserly Uncle Arkwright. He now runs it with his son Leroy, a cheerful, good-looking lad with more female admirers than Granville ever had. The comedy stars David Jason, James Baxter, Tim Healy, Stephanie Cole, Sally Lindsay, Maggie Ollerenshaw, Johnny Vegas, Kulvinder Ghir, Brigit Forsyth, Nina Wadia and Geoffrey Whitehead.
In the Christmas Special, Granville and Gastric find themselves playing marriage counsellors, whilst Leroy adopts a festive disguise to avoid relationship trouble of a different kind. Meanwhile, Mrs Featherstone struggles to get into the Christmas spirit and Kath attempts to bring the street together as one harmonious choir of carollers to beat Finkle Street once and for all – but does Granville have a trick up his sleeve to help them out? As TVWise previously reported, cast member Lynda Barron is not be returning for the Christmas Special and third season due to scheduling conflicts
