A+E Networks UK’s Blaze Channel Launches On Freesat

BlazeA+E Networks UK is expanding the reach of Blaze.

The FTA channel, which initially launched in the UK in September , is now available on Freesat on channel 162 after A+E inked a deal with the subscription-free satellite TV platform.

Blaze, which marks A+E’s first free-to-air channel here in the UK, is a new entertainment brand that aims to celebrate extraordinary, determined and courageous characters. Some of the shows available on Blaze include Pawn Stars, Mountain Men, American Restoration and Forged In Fire.

With this deal between A+E Networks UK and Fressat, Blaze is now available to 21 million free-to-air viewers via both Freeview and the TV Everywhere service. It is also available to 12.4 million Sky subscribers.
