Sky Living Sets UK Premiere Date For 'Criminal Minds' Season 12 – TVWise

The twelfth season of CBS’ FBI drama Criminal Minds will receive its UK premiere on Sky Living on Monday October 17th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Created by Jeff Davis, Criminal Minds revolves around the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit whom roam the United States to assist local law enformcement track down serial killers and other serious criminal offenders. The drama series is produced by CBS Television Studios & ABC Studios and stars Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, A. J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Joe Mantegna, Paget Breswter, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez.
The show’s twelfth season will be the last to feature Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner after Thomas Gibson, who has played the character since the pilot, was fired from the show following an on-set altercation. Paget Brewster, best known to fans as Special Agent Emily Prentiss, is rejoining the cast this season as a regular and is expected to take over as Unit Chief of the BAU.
In the opening episode of the new season, titled The Crimson King, with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit working hard to recapture the serial killers who escaped from prison in the season eleven finale. Adam Rodriguez makes his first appearance in this episode as Luke Alvez, a member of the Bureau’s Fugitive Task Force, who is drafted into the BAU as part of the manhunt.
