Universal Channel Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ Season 18 – TVWise

The eighteenth season of NBC’s drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will receive its UK premiere on Universal Channel on Sunday October 16th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Created by Dick Wolf, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit revolves around the activities of the Manhattan Special Victims Unit of the NYPD, which investigates sexually based offences. The drama series is produced by Universal Television and stars Mariska Hargitay, Ice T, Peter Scanavino, Kelli Giddish and Raul Esparza.
In the opening episode of the eighteenth season, titled Terrorized, a young boy is found wandering alone in Central Park and the search for his parents leads to startling evidence of a planned mass casualty event in the city. As the SVU works with the joint-terrorism task force to find the suspects and the motive, Lt. Benson must also convince Barba to address allegations of rape and torture the boy’s mother discloses. Peter Gallagher, Robert John Burke, Elizabeth Marvel, Natia Dune and Marc Damon Johnson guest star.
