Private Eyes, which was recently picked up for UK broadcast by Universal Channel, has been renewed by Canadian broadcaster Global for a second season. The network has ordered 18 episodes for season two, nearly double the ten episodes that comprised season one.
“We are delighted that Private Eyes attracted such a loyal following,” said eOne Television’s Jocelyn Hamilton. “Right out of the gate, the audience embraced our show with incredible enthusiasm. We are so grateful to the fans and excited to deliver a tremendous sophomore season that will keep them all hooked.”

Angie Everett, took over her father’s agency after his death, to form an unlikely investigative powerhouse. Cindy Sampson (Supernatural) stars opposite Priestley as Angie Everett.
The series was commissioned by Global, the same Canadian broadcaster that was behind fellow Universal Channel import Rookie Blue. Private Eyes was created by Tim Kilby & Shelley Eriksen and is produced by eOne in association with Corus Entertainment. The executive producers are John Morayniss, Rachel Fulford, Tecca Crosby, Shawn Piller, Lloyd Segan, Shelley Eriksen, Alan McCullough, Tassie Cameron, Kelly Makin and Jason Priestley. Private Eyes premieres in the UK on Universal Channel on Monday September 19th at 8pm.
