HBO has released the first trailer for their miniseries The Night Of, which is set to premiere on Sunday July 10th at 9/8c.
The Night Of follows college student Nasir “Naz” Khan, who lives with his parents in Queens, NY, takes his father’s taxi to go a party in Manhattan. But what starts as a perfect night for Naz becomes a nightmare when he’s arrested for murder. The late James Gandolfini is also listed as an executive producer.
Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler) leads the cast as Naz; while John Turturro (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) plays his attorney Jack Stone – the role that was played by James Gandolfini in the original pilot.
