Channel 5 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Wentworth Prison’ Season 4 – TVWise

The fourth season of Australian drama series Wentworth Prison will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Monday June 27th at 10pm, it has been announced.
A reboot of Australian drama series Prisoner Cell Block H, Wentworth Prison is set in the violent dangerous environment of the Wentworth Correctional Centre and follows struggles with inmates and provides insights into their fractious personal lives. The series is produced by FremantleMedia Australia and stars Danielle Cormack, Nicole da Silva, Pamela Rabe, Kate Atkinson, Celia Ireland, Shareena Clanton, Katrina Milosevic, Robbie Magasiva, Socratis Otto, Tammy MacIntosh and Libby Tanner.
In the show’s fourth season, which consists of twelve episodes, Bea (Danielle Cormack) and her cell-block mates are returning to Wentworth after the fire and rebuilding of H Block to find a new dynamic in play with a new contender for Top Dog. On the outside, Franky (Nicole da Silva( is trying hard to be a productive member of society. As always, no-one should underestimate “the Freak”.
