Fox is expanding the cast of Rosewood. Brian Austin Green (Anger Management) has joined the cast of the Miami-set procedural as a series regular for its upcoming second season, TVWise has learned.
Rosewood follows Dr Beaumont Rosewood Jr, (Morris Chestnut), the city’s top private pathologist, and tough-as-nails detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) as they continue to investigate East Miami PD’s most challenging cases. The drama series, from 20th Century Fox Television, also stars Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle and Maggie Elizabeth Jones.
Green will play Aaron Slade, East Miami Police’s newest member with a mysterious past, who will both challenge and complicate an already messy situation between Dr Beaumont Rosewood and Detective Annalise Villa. He doesn’t trust anyone and hates the idea of partnerships and teams – which will keep Rosewood and Villa on their toes as they go to great lengths to figure him out. As the team begins to investigate and uncover the real Aaron Slade, the twosome learn of his storied past.
Brian Austin Green is no stranger to television. The actor rose to fame in the 1990s thanks to his role as David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210; and his since gone on to star in such series as Anger Management, Wedding Band, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Desperate Housewives, Smallville, CSI: Miami, Las Vegas, Hope & Faith, George Lopez and Freddie.
