ITVBe Orders Sam Faiers Series 'The Mummy Diaries' – TVWise

ITVBe has given the green-light to Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries, a six episode reality series that charts Sam Faiers journey into motherhood following the birth of her son Paul Tony Knightley.
A follow-up to the one-off special Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries, The Mummy Diaries charts the highs and lows of motherhood and wilkl follow loved-up Sam as she finds her feet as a mother, whilst juggling her glitzy career and the pressures of being with Paul in the media spotlight. Whether following their move into their very first family home or joining them for a beautiful christening party, viewers will be there for each and every milestone.
“I am excited to be doing my own six part series for ITVBe. The feedback from The Baby Diaries was so overwhelming and I am really looking forward to letting the viewers follow me in my day to day life with baby Paul during my first year of motherhood”, said Sam Faiers. “I have so many exciting projects coming up this year, work wise and in my personal life and I can’t wait to share them with everyone.”
Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries was commissioned for ITVBe by Amanda Stavri, ITV’s Commissioner Editor for Entertainment and is being produced by Potato. The indie’s Managing Director Michael Kelpie will executive produce alongside Phil Mount and Kate Jackson.
This marks the latest commission for the ITV Studios owned indie Potato. Earlier today, ITV ordered Go For It, a 20 episode game show hosted by Stephen Mulhern which is also being produce by the indie; while just last week Potato also secured a commission from Channel 5 to produce a pair of docudramas about the untimely deaths of Freddie Mercury and Karen Carpenter.
