NBC's 'Chicago Med' Adds Peter Mark Kendall In Recurring Role – TVWise

NBC is adding to the cast of Chicago Med. The Americans and Public Morals alum Peter Mark Kendall has been tapped for a recurring role in the latest Chicago Fire spin-off, which is set to premiere on Tuesday November 17th at 9/8c.
Chicago Med is described as an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors who hold it together. Familiar faces from the Chicago police and fire departments will intertwine as this third team of Chicago heroes hits the ground running.
Peter Mark Kendall, who has been recurring on FX’s The Americans as KGB informant Hans, will play Joey, a nerdy-cute lab tech with a sharp and sarcastic sense of humor. There is also talk that the character will be something of a love-interest for one of the series regular characters. The casting news was first reported by Deadline.
Chicago Med stars Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Nick Gehlfuss, Yaya Dacosta, Colin Donnell, Brian Tee, Rachel DiPillo & Torrey DeVitto; while Carl Lumbly also appears in a recurring role. The medical drama was created by Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, all of whom serve as executive producers on the Universal Television produced series alongside Danielle Gelber, Peter Jankowski and director Joe Chappelle.
