HBO Unveils Trailer For Martin Scorsese & Mick Jagger Rock & Roll Drama ‘Vinyl’ – TVWise

HBO has released a new full length trailer for Vinyl, their upcoming rock & roll drama from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and former Boardwalk Empire showrunner Terence Winter. The series is set to premiere on HBO in the U.S. and Sky Atlantic in the U.K. in 2016.
Vinyl set in 1970s New York and will explore the drug- and sex-fueled music business as punk and disco were breaking out, all through the eyes of a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound. The drama series, which has received a ten episode order, was created by Terence Winter & George Mastras and is being produced in-house through HBO Originals. The executive producers are Winter, Mastras, Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, Rick Yorn, Victoria Pearman and Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Terence Winter is the showrunner.
Bobby Cannavale (Third Watch) leads the cast as Richie Finestra, the founder and president of American Century Records who has a great ear for discovering talent, who undergoes a crisis of character when confronted with a life-altering decision. Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, Andrew “Dice” Clay, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, James Jagger, Jack Quaid, Birgitte Sorenson, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Bo Dietl, Armen Garo, Robert Funaro and Joe Caniano also star.
