The second season of FX’s Fargo will receive its UK premiere on Channel 4 on Monday October 19th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Fargo is a mini-series franchise based on the feature film of the same name by Joel & Ethan Coen. The second season of the series is set in 1979 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota and follows Lou Solverson, a young State Trooper recently back from Vietnam, as he investigates a case involving a local crime gang, a major Mob syndicate and small town beautician Peggy Blumquist and her husband Ed, the local butcher’s assistant. MGM Television and FX Productions are producing.
The cast for the show’s second season includes Ted Danson as Hank Larsson, Jean Smart will play Floyd Gerhardt, Patrick Wilson as Lou Solverson, Kirsten Dunst as Peggy Blomquist, Jesse Plemons as Ed Blomquist, Nick Offerman as town lawyer Karl Weather, Brad Garret as Kansas City crime syndicate front man Joe Buly, Bokeem Woodbine as Joe’s number two Mike Milligan, Jeffrey Donovan as Dodd Gerhardt, Angus Sampson as Bear Gerhardt and Kieran Culkin as Rye Gerhardt.
