Lost Girl’s final season is coming to the UK.
Syfy UK has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the show’s 16 episode final run after striking a deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television, TVWise has learned. The final season will premiere on Syfy UK on Tuesday October 13th at 9pm.
Created by Michelle Lovretta, Lost Girl follows supernatural seductress Bo, a tough yet loveable Succubus who feeds off sexual energy. The drama series is produced by Prodigy Pictures in association with Shaw Media and Showcase and stars Anna Silk, Kris Holden-Ried, Zoie Palmer, Rick Howland, K.C. Collins and Rachel Skarsten.
In the show’s extended final season – which originally aired in two-parts on Showcase in Canada – Bo’s determination to do the impossible for the people she loves triggers an explosive chain of events that will play out over the final episodes. Bo discovers that love is not always enough to keep a family together as she and her friends face an enemy unlike any they’ve faced before.
Lost Girl‘s final season is the latest element of Syfy UK’s Autumn schedule to fall into place. Other titles on said schedule include the second season of the Syfy original series Dominion; the back-half of Haven‘s final season; and the second season of ratings hit The Librarians, which is set to premiere on Syfy UK in early November, close behind the show’s debut on TNT in the United States.
