Paul Nicholls Lands Guest Role On 'Death In Paradise' Season 5 – TVWise

Law & Order: UK alum Paul Nicholls has landed a guest starring role on the fifth season of BBC One’s ratings juggernaut Death In Paradise, which is currently being shot on location on the French-Caribbean island of Guadeloupe.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to work with the fantastic cast and crew on the upcoming series of Death In Paradise”, said Nicholls. “I play a fashion photographer in my episode which is very different from many of my previous roles so was a great challenge. Filming in Guadeloupe was incredible too. We had so much fun!”
Other guest stars lined up for the eight episode fifth season include Emma Rigby (Once Upon A Time), Heida Reed (Poldark), Julien Ovenden (Downton Abbey), Neve McIntosh (Doctor Who), Lloyd Owen (The Originals), Nigel Lindsay (Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa), Hannah Britland (Fresh Meat), Charlotte Hope (Game of Thrones) and Lucy Cohu (Broadchurch).

Created by Robert Thorogood, Death In Paradise follows DI Humphrey Goodman and his local police team as they investigate crimes on the tropical island of Saint Marie. The series is produced Red Planet Pictures and stars Kris Marshall, Danny John-Jules, Don Warrington, Tobi Bakare and Josephine Jobert. Death In Paradise has been a hit for the BBC since its inception, pulling in an average consolidated audience of almost 9 million viewers.
In the show’s fifth season, love is in the air as DI Humphrey Goodman takes on the brave new world of dating, while Officer JP Hooper is reunited with a blast from the past. Meanwhile, the team are shocked when JP reveals that he can’t swim, despite living on an island. With mentor, Officer Dwayne Myers insisting that he has to be the ‘complete package’ to be a Police Officer, DS Florence Cassell decides to take him under her wing to give him some lessons.
