Former Granada Television and ITV exec Andrew Baker has joined co-production and deficit financing company Drive as a non-executive director, TVWise has learned.
Drive was Founded in 2013 by Ben Barrett and Lilla Hurst to facilitate the production funding process by providing consultancy services and sourcing finance for TV projects. Baker’s role as non-exec director will see him work closely with both execs, advising on a range of strategic and commercial objectives and opportunities.
“Drive is at a key point in its evolution, and I am delighted to join the company to help Ben and Lilla shape the strategy and direction of the business going forward”, Adam Baker said.
“Having worked with Andrew many times over the years, I know firsthand that his experience and knowledge makes him an ideal person to have on board as we continue Drive’s expansion both in the UK and internationally”, commented Ben Barrett, Joint Managing Director of Drive.
