UKTV has released a trailer for the fourth season of NBC comedy Parks & Recreation, which is set to premiere on Dave on Monday July 27th at 8pm with a double-bill.
Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, Parks & Recreation follows Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation as she tries her best to deliver for the local community despite the best efforts of her boss, Ron Swanson, who is opposed to government and does his best to undermine government work at every turn. The comedy series stars Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Paul Schneider, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir and Retta.
In the opening episode of the show’s fourth season, titled I’m Leslie Knope, Leslie tells Ann that she’s considering running for political office. Ann is excited for Leslie, but asks what this means for Leslie and Ben. She doesn’t know, but for now, she doesn’t want to think about it. Suddenly Ron charges in the office and tells Leslie he’s leaving the parks department for 228 days (the number of personal days he’s accumulated) because he wants to avoid his ex-wife, Tammy One.
